Swingin' Ape Studios was a video game development company located in Aliso Viejo, California, USA. It was founded in July 2000 by Steve Ranck, Mike Starich and Scott Goffman, former Midway Home Entertainment employees after completing Hydro Thunder.

The company is known to have developed Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and the eventually cancelled StarCraft: Ghost (after taking over from Nihilistic Software).

The company was acquired by Blizzard Entertainment on 16 May 2005.
