Ubisoft, Inc. is the publisher and distributor of Ubisoft Entertainment SA for North America. Located in San Francisco, California, the office employs approximately 250 people and handles marketing and publishing for the company.

The North American headquarters was established in 1996 for publishing and distribution purposes. An internal development division was established in 2009, and closed on 4 December 2024 in the lead-up to the shutdown of XDefiant.
