Wombat Security Technologies, Inc.

Wombat Security Technologies was founded based on research that was originally developed at Carnegie Mellon University as part of one of the largest anti-phishing research projects in the US. It is this scientific, peer-reviewed research that led the team at Carnegie Mellon to pull their work out of the laboratory and push it to the real world. Their line of software solutions currently focuses on training people not to fall for phishing attacks, with one of their most popular products being the educational game Anti-Phishing Phil.
