Aces Up!

Aces Up! is a card solitaire game. The main goal is to remove all the cards from the four columns at the top. In order to discard a card, it must be of the same suit and of a lower rank than any of the cards at the bottom of the three remaining columns. Only the bottom cards can be removed or moved. Since aces have the highest ranks, they can't be discarded, but they can be moved to empty columns like any other cards. They also have biplanes attached, which allows them to be moved to another column, even if it's not empty. However, this will use up the biplane and it won't be possible to perform the same trick again for that particular ace. Moving an ace to an empty column produces a Flying Ace (shown to the right of the screen), which can shoot down any card at the bottom of a column, except aces.

If it's impossible to make any moves using the cards in play, the player can draw four new cards at a time from the deck on the left. The game gives token bonuses for not drawing new cards, illustrated by the train on the far left. Removing four cards in a row without drawing new ones produces half a car. Getting a full car will add up the token bonus to the final score if the player wins the hand. In order to win, all of the aces need to be moved to the top position in the columns, and no cards besides them should be left on the screen. Any unused Flying Ace will then be added to the player's squadron, and collecting eight of them will trigger a Jackpot Spin.
