Addvance

Addvance is a 2–3 player board game for the TI99/4a.

Played on a 10 × 7 board of colored squares, the players try to reach a predetermined score. Players take turns moving on the board, and can move up-left, up-right, or straight up. The goal is to pass the top of the board to return to the bottom, gaining 10 points each trip. When a player leaves a square there is a ⅓ chance of it changing color.

Orange squares can be purchased, and if an opposing player lands on a purchased square they forfeit 0–15 points to the owner. Grey are extra move squares. Yellow are extra move squares that increase or decrease the player's score 5 points. Green transport squares randomly move the player on the board, purple annihilation squares cause a player to lose all their points, and white attack squares cause points to be transferred between the player and any opponent in an adjacent square.
