Strategic Advance

Description
Strategic Advance is a simplified 1-player chess game.
Played on a 5 x 5 board, each player has 5 footmen and 2 horsemen. Footmen move similar to the pawns of chess, and can move 1 square forwards or 2 squares on their first move. They can take opponents on an angle. If they reach the far row they become a horseman, or if the player already has 2 horsemen, get a free move to anywhere on the board. Horsemen move like the knights in chess. Moves occur simultaneously, and 2 pieces of equal value are removed if they land on the same square. Otherwise, a horseman will remove a footman. The first player to take their opponent's footmen is the winner. There are 3 computer skill levels.
