Alchemy

In Alchemy, Ronald the Pixie wants to create the fabled Philosopher's Stone, but lacks the knowledge to do it. Luckily, the librarian Rosimund Crosly has allowed him to search for the books he needs in the library. Using a spell, Ronald is able to highlight the right books with the sparkly thing. Miss Crosly, however, doesn't tolerate dirt, so he must also take care that no cobwebs or moths land on the floor.

The goal of the game is to guide Ronald around the room, collecting the right books and catching all falling cobwebs and moths using the dusting brush or the net, respectively. In order to reach higher bookcases, the player must use the ladder, which can also be moved to the right or the left. The sparkly thing spell doesn't always identify the correct book, so multiple tries are needed before obtaining it. If any type of dirt lands on the floor, Ronald is cursed to gaze into the realm of Lukron the Filthy and the player must start from the beginning.
