All-New Now That's What I Call A Music Quiz 2

Description

Now That's What I A Call Music Quiz 2 is a music quiz for up to four people, it has three modes of play which are;* Chart Climber: This game is for one to four players, it is the only game mode with a single player option. Here players start in chart position twenty and take turns answering questions worth one, two or three cart positions with the objective of being the first to reach number one. Question topics include Lyrics, Rock, Cover Versions, Bad Haircuts, Fashion Disasters etc and the three point question is always a mystery. Some questions have an associated penalty, for example if the player gets it wrong they may be frozen for one or two rounds, instead of going up x places they go down 'x' or sometimes '2x' places, they could go one position below the lowest player and so on. Other questions allow the player to swap places with another player, go one position higher than the highest player and so on * Platinum Collection: This game mode is for two, three or four players, in it there are nine groups of themed questions based around particular decades, Solo artists, Lyrics etc. Players take turns selecting a category and try to answer three consecutive questions correctly, if they do then they win that category and it becomes unavailable to the other player(s). The first to collect five collections wins the game

The questions used in 'Chart Climber' are re-used in 'Platinum Collection'. In both these game modes the player may see a picture, a video, or hear an audio clip. The questions are all multiple choice with three possible answers.

  • Free For All: This game mode is for two, three or four players and can be played over three, five or ten rounds. The game shows a picture of the game's title screen, small pieces are removed to reveal an artist's picture. The idea is that one player will shout out the identity of the artist, at this point someone presses a button on the remote and the picture and identity are revealed. The game then prompts 'Who answered?', 'Was it answered correctly?' whereupon it adds or deducts points accordingly. Players score more points by answering quickly.

There is no manual supplied with this game but there are detailed on-screen instructions. None of the questions narrated, the audio is restricted to the song and video clips and an end of game "Now That's What I Call a Winner. Well Done Player 'X'!"
