Ambush

This chess-like board game (also called Rithmomachia), has the player moving the pieces across the board with rook-like moves. The circle pieces move one square, the triangle pieces three, and the square pieces four. The player must capture six of the opponent's pieces to win. There are four strategies to capture a piece, which include surrounding it from two or four sides, or using particular pieces based on the number of empty spaces or current round to land on it.
