American Idol Star Experience
Description
American Idol Star Experience is based on the popular TV show American Idol. The game was originally developed as a retail Windows title, but was changed to be a free-to-play Facebook title during late development. However, a client still had to be installed on the player's PC to launch the game.
The game allowed players to create their own American Idol performances using the game's Performance Creator. Players could customize their avatar's body type, hair, clothes and accessories. They could also customize the performance's setting by choosing between different stages, adding visual effects such as rain or fireworks, and controlling the camera angles. Players could then record themselves singing a variety of songs and upload their performances to Facebook. Once a performance was online, other players could rate the it by giving it 1 to 3 stars (3 being the best) in 3 different categories: styling, staging and singing.
