A parody of Tolkien's Hobbit, An Everyday Tale of a Seeker of Gold is a classic text adventure made using the Quill adventure generation software from Gilsoft. You tell the game what you want to do via a textual interface and the parser is based on verb / noun input.
Bulbo Biggun the Boggit, at the urging of the wizard Grand Alf goes on a perilous journey. Along with a band of dwarves, he faces ravenous trolls, the treacherous Gullem and Smog the dragon.
