Description

Arcade Challenge is a series of arcade games with simplified controls designed for children with disabilities.

  • Bomber: The player tries to drop bombs on a target as their plane flies across the top of the screen. The player gets 10 bombs per game. The player controls bomber speed, bomber height, and target size.
  • Break Out: The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen, and bounces a ball to break blocks at the top of the screen.
  • Grouse Shooting: The player moves their gunsight to shoot birds. There are 3 birds in each game.
  • Rapids: The player moves their boat laterally at the bottom of the screen, and must avoid running into the shore as the screen moves from above. The player controls river width, speed, and number of rocks.
  • Space Cat: The player rotates their feline spaceship to shoot space mice. The player has 1000 gallons of fuel to shoot the mice. The player controls game speed, number of asteroids and automatic firing.
  • Squash: The player moves a paddle laterally at the top of the screen, and gains a point by bouncing a ball at the bottom of the screen and loses a life if it hits the top.
