Arena

Arena is a space-themed arcade shooter for the Apple II.

The player controls a set of 4 laser cannons which rotate around a central point. Enemies appear on the screen, and the player needs to align the monster with their laser cannons to destroy the enemy. Also circling the center point are a number of small white dots, and if the player shoots one of these dots by accident, they will lose a life. The player has limited time to shoot each enemy, or they lose a life. For every 5 enemies destroyed, the player advances to a more difficult stage with more dangerous white dots to shoot and faster moving enemies. The player has a total of 5 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.
