Featuring the same storyline as the console version, Army of Two: The 40th Day for the PSP is a top-down shooter with a focus on two-player cooperative gameplay. The game can either be played with an AI partner or with a friend over the PSP's wireless connection.
Most features of the console version have been brought over, including the weapon upgrades and unlocks, the moral choices, and two-player tactics.
