Assault Force: X-5

X-5 is the most covert anti-terrorism force that The Government has to its disposal and when a flight with world dignitaries gets high-jacked they are the ones that gets the job. Trained by an organization known as the FifthAxis it consists of only the best soldier from around the world. The player is one member of this force and now he has been selected to go on a mission to destroy the terrorists and bring back the hostages.

Assault Force: X-5 is a an action game in the style of Commando and Ikari Warriors. It consists of four missions (each split into several levels) that the player has to run through, from the bottom to the top, and shoot down all the enemies that stand in his way. The player's primary attack is a gun with unlimited ammo but he also access to grenades and dynamite that can be thrown. Some enemies stand beside sandbags that protects them from bullets and which requires the player to use the explosives. These are in limited supply but more can be found around the levels. Other collectibles include health packs and armour for protection. Early on the player will mostly meet foot soldiers but later on he will also come across tanks, guard towers and gun truants.
