Astro-Droid
Description
Astro-Droid is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.
The player controls a small robot that can move in all direction and fires a shorts distance forwards. Terrain scrolls beneath the robot as it flies progressively towards the top of the screen. The player must avoid or destroy attacking enemy robots. The player can shoot items to gain brief power-ups, which increase the robot's offensive power. The player starts with 3 lives, and they are destroyed if hit and must restart a level.
