Atom Smasher
Description
Atom Smasher is an arcade game for the TRS-80.
The player controls a small vessel which moves horizontally on the bottom of the screen, and fires vertically forwards. A bouncing ball moves about the screen, and whenever it hits, it splits into two bouncing balls. These consistently split into more and more obstacles to be avoided and shot. The player starts with 5 ships, and loses a ship when hit. Every 50 points guarantees the player a new ship.
