Ballerburg
Description
Ballerburg is an unofficial remake of Ballerburg. As in the original the king in the enemy castle needs to be killed, by shooting him with cannons. The influencing factors for a shot are the angle of the muzzle, amount of gunpowder, strength of gunpowder (can be improved via research), wind direction and wind speed.
The complete environment, castle and all constructions are destructible. When a storage room for gunpowder, cannonballs or the money is hit, all or a part of the respective resource is lost. Before a game starts, each player can choose from various castles. Each castle has a different layout of cannons, storage rooms and a king. There are also several maps available.
Fresh supplies (gunpowder and cannonballs) can only be bought at the market where the prices vary over time. The player earns money via taxes, mine head towers or taking out a loan. The amount of income taxes also depends on the number of inhabitants of the castle. If the inhabitants become displeased or the living conditions in the enemy castle are significantly better, they will change sides. The happiness of the inhabitant is influenced by the investment in food and luxury and the tax load.
The game ends when one king is dead or surrenders.
