Barren Realms Elite

Barren Realms Elite is a BBS multiplayer strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players assume the role of a tribe baron aiming to become the supreme leader. Each turn, players navigate text-only menus to adjust various options, including diplomacy (trade agreements, forming alliances, declaring war, etc.), finances (managing expenses and distributing food), covert operations (espionage, bribery, and sabotage), buying/selling troops and regions, trading, and military actions. Turns must be submitted within a specified time period.

Additionally, the game supports multiplayer games between multiple BBSes. In this mode, each BBS represents a planet, and players must collaborate to become the league leader. This also introduces options such as group attacks, forming BBS-wide alliances, and building a powerful weapon of destruction.
