Bash the Teacher!

Bash the Teacher! is a single-player, mouse/keyboard controlled, casual clicker game. The game plays on a single fixed screen representing a classroom. In the upper left are two status bars, the upper bar which has a yellow sad face icon shows progress to defeating the teacher - this takes a long time to fill up. Beneath this is a second status bar which shows progress towards the next humorous animation. There are three targets on the screen, on the right is an item of decoration which starts out as a globe but can be upgraded, in the centre is the teacher and to the left is the class pet, initially this is a parrot but it too can be upgraded.

The player starts out clicking on one of the three targets, clicking anywhere else on the screen results in nothing being thrown - the player must click on a target, and their weapon is a ball of scrunched up paper. Each hit scores a point and with enough points the player can upgrade either the pet, their weapon or the item of decoration. Each upgrade increases the points scored for a successful hit and the game has sixteen upgrades for each of the three categories. If the player decides that they have upgraded say the pet from a parrot to a monkey but the parrot was more fun they can change the on-screen pet without reducing the points scored for each click, the same applied to the weapons and the decorations too.

This game plays in either a window or in full screen mode, the F1 key toggles between the two. It has no in-game auto clicker so nothing happens unless the player actively clicks on one of the three target areas on the screen. Each teacher has their own set of humorous events and Steam achievements are awarded as new ones occur while others are linked and to pets and items.
