Battle of Britain

Battle of Britain is a 1-player strategy game for the VIC-20

You are the war minister for the United Kingdom. The country relies on steel, weapons, food, ball bearings, fuel, and aircraft which all affect morale. As you lose portions of each then your effectiveness as a fighting nation is reduced. This affects the number of aircraft that are built.

The player sets the number of German fighters and bombers that will attack Britain. Each turn, the player can use their radar to scan for incoming German aircraft. The player can check the status of 12 different British cities, and can build and convert new aircraft. The player can scramble or land their aircraft, change the height of their planes, and change aircraft readiness. The player needs to defend from incoming German ships and manage their resources.
