BattleStar 2

Description
BattleStar 2 works differently than its predecessor. What remains unchanged is the movement mechanics inspired by Asteroids: the spaceship can be rotated left and right, and movement can be initiated either forward or backward. Once in motion, the ship is governed by inertia. Unlike the straightforward flight mode of the original game, BattleStar 2 incorporates true space physics or a gravity simulation.
The objective of each level is to destroy the BattleStar flying through the stage. While its shape varies from level to level, the player must always target the red center with one of the ship's guns. The ship starts with three weapons that can be switched at any time. However, using these weapons depletes the ship's energy. The same energy is used for deploying shields, which can be activated manually but also trigger automatically when the ship is hit. If the energy level reaches zero, the ship self-destructs.
To acquire new weapons and additional energy, players must visit planets that occasionally appear in the levels. When a planet is encountered, the player must move the ship over it and press a designated button. This switches the game to a first-person view, where the player controls a reticle to destroy as many approaching spaceships as possible before time runs out.
