BBS Hacker

BBS Hacker is a BBS Door game where your objective is to hack BBSes and other players. The interface is a simulated menu-driven terminal with rudimentary ANSI text effects. You connect to progressively more difficult BBSes, attempting to destroy their files before they destroy yours. Success earns you money, with which you can upgrade your software and defenses, and restore files from backups, all of which helps you work your way up to the more challenging BBSes.

Hacking other players works the same way, with the added pleasure that (when actually played on a BBS) these would actually be other callers.
