Bezier

Description

Bezier is a dual-stick shooter in which the player sets out to take out a huge underground computer. The game's graphical design is based on Bézier curves. During each of the 15 levels, the player does not only need to defend against enemy waves but also destroy a number of shields. This is complicated by the need to disable their defenses first and the time limit of a few minutes per stage. When time is almost running out, a powerful and indestructible enemy enters the area.

The player can improve the chances by collecting fragments which are left behind by defeated enemies or special asteroids: green (more health) or blue (improve weapon power / score multiplier). The latter constantly depletes if not fed with more fragments. There are also status effect such as mute (can't shoot) or confused (shots are fired in random directions). Playing the game eventually leads to level-ups which reward one ability point. It can be reinvested in defensive or offensive ship upgrades. The upgrades also carry over into the other two playing modes: highscore and endurance.
