Blast!

Blast! is a 1-player arcade game for multiple systems.

At the far edge of the galaxy known as XL-614, there is a dwarf star orbited by a single planet 64,000 kilometers across. According to a recent Astro-Geological Survey, the planet is composed of 95 percent antimatter, and as one of the foremost physicians of the generation, the player has been sent to investigate.

As the player comes in to land, the ground beneath gives way, and the player finds their craft now in an underground cavern and under attack.

The player pilots a spaceship that can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, and fires directly forwards. Gravity pulls the ship down. The player can accelerate forwards, but must avoid touching walls or enemy fire, which cost a life. The goal over eight levels is to destroy the alien command centers to move to the next area. The player starts with three lives.
