Block Out

Description

Block Out is a puzzle game in which participants take turns selecting one of four blocks and placing it in one of 13 vertical lanes. The chosen block slides downward until it reaches the floor or another block. Points are awarded based on the placement of adjacent blocks: matching either color or shape grants points, with higher points awarded for blocks matching both attributes. The game ends when the entire board is filled; the player with the highest score wins.

The game features three modes: two-player, four-player, and four-player (team). In team mode, two players form a team, alternating turns but combining their scores. Any player can be replaced by a computer-controlled opponent, with three difficulty levels available. The four-player options are DOS only.
