Block Chain

Block Chain is a 1-player falling block puzzle game for the Apple II.

The player drops equal-sized coloured blocks from above similar to Tetris. The goal is to match 2 or more blocks of the same color, at which point the blocks will change to single block of a different color. 2 purple blocks become one orange block. 2 orange blocks combine to form one yellow block, and 2 yellow blocks combine for one white block, and so on. If 4 or more blocks are combined at the same time, two rows of the puzzle disappear. A counter in the top right of the screen displays how many blocks have been played. As gameplay continues, blocks begin to move faster, and more colors are introduced into the mix. The goal is to maximize score by playing as long as possible.
