Bowmaster Prelude
Description
Bowmaster Prelude is a strategy game where you fight an evil force known as The Trev' Gahr with the help of your magical bow and peasants of your kingdown willing to fight for their lost loved ones.
You start the game in your castle from which you can shoot enemies from. To win, you must either kill all enemies and end the wave or capture the enemy flag. The player can't capture the flag, you must help your allied units do it for you. You lose if the enemy is able to capture your own flag, or if you die.
There are 4 different modes to choose freely in the options menu for using the bow:
The first and default one is the pull string method, where you have to pull the arrow backwards and release it to fire. The more you pull, the more force is applied on the arrow and more it will fly through the air. You must account for gravity when using this method. The second method is the auto aim. You only have to point at your target and the arrow will fly there, automatically accounting for gravity. It already shoots with the strongest force, but that can be changed. You can also change whether it will fire arrows in low angles or high angles with the buttons L and H. The third method is the point aim. Very similar to auto aim, however it doesn't account for gravity; Instead, it points directly to where you aim. The fourth method is the drag anywhere. Very similar to pull string, however you can pull the arrow from anywhere in the screen instead of having to click on the back of the arrow, making it easier to shoot repeatedly with it.
After winning a level, you get an amount of gold based on your performance. There are different types of arrows and allied units to buy after finishing a level, all of which are saved forever and don't have to rebought after each level, as long as you don't override the game's saves. Special enemies also come on later levels.
