Brave: Ultimate Target Challenge

Description

Brave: Ultimate Target Challenge is an archery game based on Brave, an animated feature film from Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures. The player takes control of either Merida, Young MacGuffin, Young Macintosh or Wee Dingwall during the five different levels that make up this tournament. Every character has their own style (for example Merida is balanced, while Young Macintosh is quick/hasty) and different degrees of proficiency in three skills: aim, strength, and luck. To score points, the player must shoot at the targets that pop around the screen. Arrows that land closer to the bullseye are worth more points. Breaking objects such as barrels and crates may reveal hidden items that add a bonus to the overall score. Usually aiming the bow is done using the crosshair on the screen, but there's also an iOS app designed specifically for this game which allows the player to shoot arrows from the screen of an iPhone or iPod Touch.

It's possible to change between five types of arrows. Only some of them can destroy harder objects: for example an enchanted arrow can break all kinds of objects, while a bone arrow can't pierce metal or ice blocks. There's a limited amount of every type, however. To advance to the next level the player must reach a set number of points.
