Bridge to the East

Bridge to the East is a 1-player arcade game and text adventure for the BBC Micro.

The player takes on the role of a wizard who must protect a band of would-be heroes as they journey to save the land by restoring the Crystals of Power.

Game play is divided into arcade and adventure segments. During the arcade segment, the player controls a wizard who can move in all directions, and has to collect crystals as they rapidly move across the screen. The player must also run into monsters to destroy them, and prevent them from running into the house on the screen.

The story is presented as text between sections. In adventure segments, the player must answer riddles via text input.
