Castle of Gems

Castle of Gems is a 1–2 player clone of Crystal Castles for the BBC Micro.

Bertie Bear is trying to collect as many gems as possible that are scattered around the castle. Played from an isometric perspective, the player must avoid the dangerous gem gobblers, trees, witches, ghosts, and gremlins that haunt the castle.

Both Bertie and some enemies can collect gems, and the player receives a bonus if they collect the last gem on the screen. When all gems are collected, the player moves to the next screen. The honey pot can be collected for bonus points, and the magic hat makes Bertie temporarily invincible. Lifts allow the player to move between different levels of the castle. The player starts with three lives, and can choose which screen to start the game.
