Castle Top
Description
Castle Top is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.
It is the year 1502, and the player's childhood sweetheart and bride to be, Jessica, has been captured by Frederick, Lord of Alconbury, and is being held captive in one of the high towers of his castle. Unless the player agrees to help him in his attempt to overthrow the King, she will suffer a slow and painful death.
The player controls a character who move laterally and jumps. They must clear levels atop a castle, reaching the right hand side of the screen. Dangers include pits, arrows, and spear throwing guards. Each game starts with 3 lives, and a life is lost if hit by a danger.
