Cataclysm

Cataclysm is a puzzle game with arcade elements and, as you progress, some shooting elements will appear. It takes place inside the exploration spaceship Orcana. That is why you will encounter many different and strange alien life forms, gathered from distant galaxies, in later levels.

The object in Cataclysm is to guide the water from the top of the screen into the collection vessel at the bottom of the screen. You play as the ship's supervisor, who guides water to the vessel using blocks, pressure valves and filters.

As the levels progress, water affects the ship's computer, which will try terminate your presence with the ship's weapons and by releasing alien creatures from their cells. Some of these are harmless and, mostly, they prevent you from achieving your goal, but others are more hostile and try to kill you. Another sort of monster will also fire at you, luckily you can obtain a gun and to fight back.

On later levels, not only does water fall through pipes, but acid as well. In that case, you must avoid contact with it. Other features which will appear on later levels are remote-control doors, dissolving blocks, drip valves and many others. The last thing you need to remember is that you must act within time limit, before the pressure becomes too great.
