Caterpillar

Caterpillar is a 1-player Centipede clone for the TRS-80.

The player controls a character that can move horizontally and a short distance vertically, and fires to the top of the screen. Long caterpillars approach from the top moving in horizontal strips towards the bottom of the screen, and split into multiple smaller caterpillar components when shot. The player has 1 life, and it's game over when hit. New caterpillars appear on the screen before the old ones are destroyed.
