Katerpillar Attack

Katerpillar Attack is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

Munching, crunching, ferocious katerpillars racing down the lunar landscape. When you hit them with your laser, they split into 2. Can you defeat the munching, crunching enemy?

The player controls a small character who moves laterally and fires vertically. The player tries to destroy the katerpillars, which move horizontally across the screen until they hit an obstacle, and then move 1 row down. Spiders move across the screen to catch the player, and fleas fall from above leaving mushrooms behind them. If the player is hit, they lose a life. Three lives, and it's game over. Destroy all the katerpillars to advance to the next level.
