Celebrating S.P.L. Sørensen

Celebrating S.P.L. Sørensen is a small Google Doodle recognizing the inventor of the pH scale, which measures whether a substance is acidic or basic. The game displays a cartoon of Sørensen standing below a drawing of the pH scale. In the middle of the screen is a box with an image of a fruit, vegetable or other substance. The player must click one of the two arrows, left or right, to sort the item to its proper place on the pH scale. When all objects have been properly placed, they are then sorted by color to form the Google logo.
