Description
Peek-A-Boo! by PHQ was a simple point-and-click arcade-style game playable on browsers created by the digital marketing agency PHQ. The small game was created as a portfolio piece to highlight to clients PHQ's ability to create interactive marketing experiences.
Peek-A-Boo! features PHQ's brand mascot, a phantom-like character called "the dude", appearing in illustrated scenes inspired by PHQ's Auckland location and staff. Players can click the dude to earn points and increase their score multiplier after enough successive quick clicks. The goal of the game is to achieve the highest score possible, and the game is on a timer that ends when there are no more seconds left.
The game was initially launched on Halloween 2020 to PHQ's website, and then was updated with a new background on Halloween 2022.
