Classic Japanese Monster Castle 2 is the sequel to Classic Japanese Monster Castle. It is set in Kurumulik Forest. The player's character needs to travel through a forest, moving left to right, as several single-screen rooms are connected horizontally using the flip-screen mechanic. The forest is at the exit of the castle of the first game and he needs to get through it to reach his grandfather's cabin.
