Coin Pickers
Description
Coin Pickers is a freeware, single player, first person, keyboard/mouse controlled, maze running game in which the objective is to collect a specified number of coins within a specified time.
The game has only one level which takes place inside a narrow system of canyon-like rock walls. The only instructions provided are a sign detailing the action keys and advising the use of the mouse to look around and a second sign which simply says 'Follow The Path'. Once the player starts moving a timer appears at the top of the screen showing how much longer the player has to complete the level, this is alongside a counter showing how many coins there are to be found and how many have been collected.
The learning curve is fair but brutal, make a mistake and you die and have to start over. Along the path the player has to follow are obstacles, gates to be opened and lots of traps - expect pits and lots of blood covered spikes. Dying is easy and this sets the player back to the start of the level.
The coins are collected automatically and there are hidden surprises in some corners of the maze.
