Colditz
Description
Colditz is a 1-player adventure game with graphics for the BBC Micro.
As a World War II prisoner of war, the player finds themself locked within the infamous German castle Colditz. The goal is to gather an escape kit, and then find a way out of the castle.
The player controls their character as they move through the various rooms of the castle. At any location, the player can look for a room description, and can pick up or drop items. Actions are performed by text commands. Guards can be bribed, and keys and passes must be gathered to enter certain rooms. At random points the guards will call appel, or role call. When that happens, the player has one minute to appear in the exercise yard without any items. The player will be thrown in the cooler for one month if caught carrying contraband.
