Commando Defense

This title in the Commando series takes a different style of gameplay in an overhead view of the battlefield in a total of twelve missions.. In each mission, the player's objective is to defend the battlefield in an elevated position from all incoming waves of enemies that traverse through the trenches. The player must strategically control the commando and any units or vehicles purchased with the limited credits. The commando can shoot in a limited range and construct stationary defenses, which have their own limited range and can be maintained or otherwise sold. Between each mission, new upgrades can be purchased for the stationary defenses.
