Cookie Run: OvenBreak

Cookie Run: OvenBreak is an endless running game and the successor to the OvenBreak and Cookie Run series. It retains the basic gameplay of the previous games, with one button for jumping and one for sliding, as well as the cast of colorful Cookie characters with individual abilities, as well as Pets that accompany them.

The progression is based on real-time competitions with other players, called Trophy Races. These generally last 5-10 minutes, during which the ten participating players can have several attempts to reach the highest score. After a Trophy Race, players are awarded trophies based on their ranking. A certain amount of trophies is needed to reach the next stage.

Players can also win chests by competing in Trophy Races or by completing various missions in the game. Chests contain more Cookies and Pets, including copies of already found ones, which can be used to upgrade them for more health and improved abilities.

The game includes several social features. Adding friends in the game is rewarded with in-game currency and additional characters. Friends can request and donate Cookies and Pets between each other. It is also possible to challenge friends to 1-on-1 matches, where the winner takes all the coins the loser collected.

There are two currencies in the game, coins and crystals. The coins can be found within the stages and are used to upgrade characters or buy additional copies in the shop, while the crystals are mainly used to buy special chests. Crystals can be won within the game or bought via in-app purchases.
