Corpuscle

Corpuscle is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player enters the human blood stream, with the goal of destroying all the bacteria in order to keep the body healthy. The player controls a crosshair that moves in all directions, and can fire at and destroy green bacteria.

The player starts in the aortic arch, and can move into other arteries. As time passes, the bacteria count increases, and the player must keep destroying them to keep the numbers down. As the bacteria count increases, major organs can become infected, and the player must travel there to destroy the bacteria. The game ends when the human host dies from too high of a bacteria count.
