Cosmic Snake
Description
Cosmic Snake is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.
The player controls a spaceship that moves in all directions at the bottom portion of the screen. The ship fires directly forwards, and tries to destroy the cosmic snakes that stream from the top of both sides of the play area. Snakes move horizontally, and when they hit an obstacle, they reverse direction and move down 1 row. They further break into smaller pieces when hit by player fire. A UFO intermittently moves across the top of the screen, and fires towards the player while leaving obstacles on the screen. These obstacles can be destroyed after receiving several hits from the player. The player must avoid another enemy that moves about the bottom of the screen. The player starts with 3 lives, and advances to a new level when all snake components are destroyed
