Cosmic Combat

Cosmic Combat is a space-themed arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls a small spaceship on the bottom of the screen which can move horizontally. The ship can fire vertically forwards, and controls are via the game paddles. The player must do battle against a number of enemy space vessels. There are numerous enemies. Basic spaceships progress slowly towards the player, and intermittently fire. There is also a ship which if the player hits it, they immediately lose a life. There are 3 difficulty levels, and on higher levels, alien snakes block the edges of the screen and will eat the player if they get too close. The player starts with 5 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.
