Cosmic Crusader

Cosmic Crusader is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32.

You are the Cosmic Crusader. The sole purpose of your existence is to explore the uncharted depths of the cosmos. You will voyage far into the galaxy mapping each sector and conquering any alien life forms that attack you.

The player moves their spacecraft in an arc at the bottom of the screen and fires perpendicular to the arc. Alien menaces appear from the small spacecraft at the top of the screen, and the player shoots these for points. A counter on the top of the screen shows how many aliens must be destroyed to advance to the next stage. The player has limited shield that can be temporarily activated to protect from incoming alien fire. If the player is hit by alien fire they lose a life and the counter resets.
