Critical Path

Critical Path is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player controls a small vehicle that can move laterally, and tries to avoid incoming potholes. If the player hits a pothole they're temporarily slowed, with the goal is to reach the finish line in the minimum time.
