Description
Cross†Channel: Steam Edition is an updated version of the Japanese science fiction visual novel Cross†Channel. It is the English localization of Cross†Channel: For All People, the third non-adult port of Cross†Channel following Cross†Channel: To All People and Cross†Channel: In Memory of All People.
The significant features of this version are new episodes and CG images which depict the world from the perspectives of other characters.
Like in all previous versions of the game, the player starts off in the role of Taichi Kurosu, a dysfunctional student who attends an academy for similar students who are unlikely to fit into society. Upon returning to the city following a summer vacation, Taichi and his fellow members of the broadcasting club discover that it has been deserted and that they have become trapped in a time loop, and only by putting their differences aside and rebuilding their fractured relationships can they stand a chance of escaping.
