Cross Words Deluxe
Description
Cross Words Deluxe is a single-player, shareware crossword game.
This game was released as shareware with a limited number of puzzles. The registered version had one hundred puzzles, however there were more puzzles available in what the author described as ‘puzzle books’ of which there were three each of Easy, Standard, Challenging and Mixed puzzles. In addition there was a twelve month subscription offer which promised one hundred puzzles per month plus twenty-five puzzles that were only offered to subscribers.
The game itself has many features including being able to display the clues in four different ways, font selection, optional automatic answer checking with cross-off, a progress report, a timer, clue assistance, answer peek, show correct words and auto work save. In addition to all this puzzles can be printed and solved on paper.
