Word Search Deluxe

Word Search Deluxe is a single person, mouse controlled puzzle game. It features optional music and sound effects, toggles between window and full screen mode, the option to print a puzzle, a puzzle creation function and has an option to post scores and user created puzzles on-line.

There are four sections to this product;* Kids Corner: Here all the puzzles are all played on a 9x9 grid using, according to the documentation, the names of animals however the words farmer, angel and unicorn have been observed. When an animal is found the game plays an appropriate sound effect.

• Competitor's Alley: There are three options in this section;

  • Marathon: Here the player tackles randomly selected word search puzzles against the clock, every word found adds to the timer. When a puzzle is solved another is started using the 'left over' time from the previous puzzle.
  • Timed Mode: The player solves puzzles against the clock and posts their scores on-line
  • Mystery Mode: This mode is the same as the timed mode but the player does not know what words they are looking for

• Puzzle Fun: There is no timer in this mode so it's played just for fun, in these games the player can select grid size (options available are 12x12, 16x16 & 21x21) and puzzle category

• Creativity Centre: Here the player can download new groups of words created by other players as well as creating their own groups which can be uploaded and shared with others.
